household equipment and supplied to tsunami

Ibu Yanti, 30, a beneficiary of our cake-making program
lost her only child – a 5-year boy – in the tsunami. In
addition to making cakes for sale, she also supervises
the children participating in AMURTEL’s traditional
dance program at Barak Bada.

provided sewing machines to 130 women tailors in
the resettlement camps. Each woman owns her
sewing machine once she has completed twenty
school uniforms.
